Group Personal Accident Policy of Students

All the students of the College have been covered under the accidental insurance scheme to the tune of Rs. 50,000/-. The policy provides financial protection in the event of accidents or related medical needs.

Coverage

Events covered under the policy

The policy covers the following events:

1. Death

Coverage in the event of accidental death of the insured student.

2. Loss of Two Limbs / Eyes

Loss of two limbs or two eyes, or one limb and one eye.

3. Loss of One Limb / Eye

Loss of one limb or one eye.

4. Permanent Total Disablement

Permanent total disablement from injuries other than those named above.

5. Permanent Partial Disablement

Permanent partial disablement as defined in the policy schedule.

Medical Benefits

Extended cover for medical expenses

In addition to the events listed above, the policy is extended to cover the medical benefits arising out of accidental injury. Such claims are settled by the insurance company in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy.

Sum Insured: Rs. 50,000/- per student. The premium is borne as part of the College fee structure, and every enrolled student is automatically covered for the duration of the academic session.
How to file a claim: In case of any accident or unfortunate event, students or their families should inform the College office at the earliest. The office will guide the claimant through the documentation and liaise with the insurance company on behalf of the student.
