Old Student Admission

Now live for Undergraduate (UG) continuing students. Postgraduate / Master’s recovery will be enabled shortly.

Recover Your Login Credentials

For existing & continuing students. Verify your identity using the details you registered with the College last time, and your temporary login credentials will be shown on screen.

Enter the 10-digit mobile number you had registered with the College at the time of your previous / last admission — not a new number.

Your details are checked only against the College’s records. Already have your login? Sign in to the Admission Portal.

Continuing Students

Promotion to your next semester

This section is for students currently enrolled at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College who are progressing to the next semester or year of their programme.

Six Simple Steps

Semester / Year Promotion

Continuing students are promoted to the next semester or year based on their academic performance in the previous examinations and compliance with Panjab University attendance norms.

1. Check Result

Check your previous semester's result on the Panjab University / College portal.

2. Log In

Log in to the Admission Portal using your existing credentials.

3. Update Details

Update any personal details (contact number, email, address) that have changed.

4. Pay Fees

Pay the semester fees within the notified window.

5. Save Receipt

Download and retain the fee receipt for your records.

6. Collect ID Card

Collect your updated ID card, if applicable, from the College office.

Re-registration

Subject change & backlog requests

Students wishing to change elective subjects — or who have backlogs that need to be cleared — must apply in writing to the concerned department head and the examination cell before the start of the new semester. All such changes are subject to Panjab University regulations and must be approved by the Principal.

Fee Payment

Continuing students can pay semester fees through the College's online portal. Offline payment at the College bank counter is also permitted during specified hours. Late payment attracts a fine as prescribed in the College fee schedule.

Important Notes

  • Attendance below 75% may lead to detention as per Panjab University rules
  • Keep your fee receipts and semester registration slips safely for future reference
  • Examination forms must be filled on time; a late fee applies after the due date
  • For any difficulty, contact the College office during working hours
