An epitome of academic excellence, the library seamlessly integrates print and electronic resources to facilitate quick and efficient access to information for faculty members, researchers, and students alike. Continuous and meticulous efforts are undertaken to enrich and upgrade its resources in order to meet the ever-evolving educational and research needs of its users.
Committed to empowering its users with updated and reliable information, the library offers a highly user-friendly environment with diversified sections catering to varied academic interests and disciplines. Embracing modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the library provides advanced digital access facilities to its patrons. It is equipped with ten computers connected through a Local Area Network (LAN) and operates on the advanced SLIM21 (System for Library Information and Management) software, ensuring efficient and streamlined library operations. Broadband internet connectivity is also available for faculty members to support teaching and research activities.
To further strengthen access to scholarly resources, the library subscribes to renowned online databases such as DELNET and NDLI, enabling students, teachers, and research scholars to access a vast repository of electronic resources and academic materials.
The library also maintains a well-developed Reference Section that is regularly updated and refurbished. Dedicated sections for postgraduate departments, an extensive collection of religious literature, and a special repository devoted to Sikh Studies add significant value to its academic resources. At present, the library houses 53,848+ books, 23 subscribed journals, 15 magazines, 16 newspapers, and 369 CD-ROMs. Its special collections include Panjab University examination result gazettes up to 2005, newspaper clipping archives, and employment alert services.

Smart library cards enable students to access library services efficiently. The section manages the issue and return of books, membership registration and renewal, overdue reminders, maintenance of records and statistics, and inter-library loan services.
Books are issued using Barcode Scanner technology for accuracy and efficiency.
