Parent Teacher Association

Partnership · Progress · Purpose

Bridging Home and Campus · SGGS College, Sector 26, Chandigarh

About the Association

A space where parents, guardians and teachers come together for the holistic growth of every student.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the College plays an important role in strengthening coordination between parents, teachers and the institution for the holistic development of students. It has been formed to facilitate parental participation in the College and to encourage fruitful interaction among the stakeholders — providing a platform for parents, guardians and teachers to meet, exchange and analyse various issues related to students, and to work together to supplement and enrich the educational experience.
The PTA is a forum where the academic problems of a student can be discussed jointly and efforts are made to solve them — helping in the growth and development of every student’s progress.
