Post Graduate Department of Zoology
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The PG Department of Zoology had its humble beginning as a joint Dept’ of Biology in the year 1966, the year of establishment of the College. It was formally seperated as Department of Zoology by bifurcation in 1972-73 to cater to Pre-Medical and B Sc (Medical). Later in 2014-15 it was elevated to Post Graduate Level with initiation of M Sc Zoology. The Department has been contributing good academic results right from inception. Recently Mr Sandeep Negi and Sonam of M Sc Zoology (Batch 2016-17) secured 6/7th Positions in the Panjab University.
