Centre for Religious and Cultural Studies


The Centre for Sikh and Cultural Studies of our college aims to establish and create among students a keen awareness about Sikh values. It has been set up with an objective to rekindle offering with our cultural and religious roots. Keeping in view this objective the Centre offers a broad range of pedagogical and intentional training in a progressively broad range of topics.

Activities

  1. To commemorate the international mother’s language day, the Centre facilitated a Webinar to create stimulation and encouragement for career and job opportunities in the field of Punjabi the on Feb 21, 2022. The webinar was organized in collaboration with Placement Cell of College.
  2.  A small endeavor to restore our native linguistic identity was initiated through ‘Punjabi Hastakhar’. Several faculty members expressed their love and devotion towards Punjabi language by inscribing their signatures in Punjabi the on Feb 21, 2022.
  3. “Painti Akhri Kaarjshala” devoted to the Guriyai Purab of Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji organized by Sri Guru Angad Dev Pathshaala on 15 September 2022.
